HONEY: Not so good...Beware

 HONEY: Not so good... Beware!

       While honey is full of advantages and is of diverse health benefits which includes;
  • Treatment of Cough, Hay-fever, Diarrhea,
  • Treatment of Asthma
  • Wound healing, burns and sunburn.
  • It's a good source of carbohydrate
  • It's a natural sweetener
  • Used for fragrance and as a moisturizer in soap and cosmetic product.
  • It helps in the removal of acne, reduces wrinkles and dryness.
  • It equally plays a significant role in Weight loss.
It equally has a lot of disadvantages especially when taken in excess. Honey is so useful that people ingest it without caution.Due to the sweetness of honey, most people are not aware there could be some disadvantages associated with it and so they consume it morning, noon and night, practically adding it to every meal. You see mothers feeding their little babies with honey without the knowledge of it's negative effect on babies less than one year and for this reason I deem it fit to highlight some of the Disadvantages of Honey in this article.

                          Disadvantages of Honey

  • Consumption of more than the daily limit of honey may interfere with nutrient absorption in the Gastrointestinal tract due to it's fructose content and this could result to abdominal upset and discomfort.
  • Consuming excess honey may initiate long-term harmful effects on the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Honey is quite acidic therefore it's prolonged usage may lead to acid reflux disease as a result of corrosion of the esophagus and gastrointestinal linings. It could also cause tooth decay.
  • Honey is full of glucose, hence, taking excess of it may cause insulin insensitivity and glucose intolerance.
  • Excessive consumption of honey can cause diarrhea, bloating, abdominal rumbling and cramps.
  • When ingested by babies less than one year, it could cause Botulism, a paralytic disease. It doesn't affect adults but infants and this occurs due to the presence of the microorganism 'Clostridium botulinum' which is often found in honey.

                        Proper Daily Consumption of Honey

3-5 tsf of honey is the healthy limit of honey consumption daily. It is advised to be taken in the morning before breakfast and before bedtime. Excessive consumption affects both adults and infants negatively.

Have I Lost My Wife To Another MAn?

HAVE I LOST MY WIFE TO ANOTHER MAN

Dave and Clara have been married for over nine years without children. They stayed with each other and hoped that they will have a child before their 10th year in marriage because they were been persuaded by family and some friends to get a divorce but they couldn’t let go due to the love between them. Months passed, by and by, when Dave was returning from work one day, he saw his wife walking down the road with a man and they looked happy. Another evening, as Dave was coming back from work, he saw the same man drop her off at the house. Dave became angry and sad. Two days later, after a hectic day at work, Dave was taking water with a glass jug when the phone rang. It was a male voice. He was sure the person was the man he had seen with his wife. He suddenly became shaky with this thought, “have I lost my wife to another man?”
At that point, the glass jug fell from his hand and shattered into pieces. Then Clara came running into the room asking, “Is everything okay?” In anger, he gave his wife a push and she fell. She wasn’t moving or getting up. Dave then realized she fell where he had broken the glass jug and a large piece of glass had pierced her. He felt her breath, pulse and heartbeat, but there she lay lifeless. His wife was dead. In confusion, he saw an envelope in her hand. He took it, opened it and was shocked by its content. It was a letter and it read; “My loving husband, words cannot express how I feel, so I had to write it down. I have been going to see a doctor for over a week and wanted to be sure before giving you the news. The doctor confirmed that am pregnant with twins and our babies will be due 7 months from now. The doctor also happens to be my long lost brother whom I have contact with after our marriage. He has promised to take care of me and our babies and give us the best without collecting a dime. He also promised to have dinner with us today. Thanks to you for standing by me…your loving wife.” As the letter fell from Dave’s hands, there was a knock on the door and it was the same man he had seen with his wife and he said; “hello Dave, I suppose am right, I am Max, your wife’s brother” and suddenly he noticed his sister in the pool of her blood. He rushed her to the hospital but it was too late. His sister, Dave’s wife was gone and so were the twins.
What a story! What an experience! This man terminated his breakthrough, killing his wife and miracle children just because of judging his wife without facts. Avoid his deadly mistake as he heads to jail. Do not judge the actions of people around you, starting from your spouse, children, family members, friends, office colleagues, business partners, neighbors, etc., without extensive investigation and patience.”
Shannon L. Alder quipped: “when you see people only as personalities, rather than souls with life missions to fulfill, you forever limit the growth and possibilities of what God has in store for another person.” No matter what you hear, they are saying about or they have done, take time to deal with hash anger and rash decisions. Joseph’s brothers hurriedly passed judgement on him without knowing his motive and his encounter with God; they would have killed their God-sent solution if not for the mercy of God. Learn this million dollar lesson as you go on with life.
