FACTORS WHICH ENCOURAGE DILIGENCE

 MOTIVATION: 

The biggest and most available source of motivation you have and will ever have is YOU, yes you. People or things might motivate you but it’s just for a while and the rest lies in your hands. The bible says …and David encouraged himself in the Lord; it doesn’t matter how discouraging or frustrating the situation you’re in now is, just stay positive and stay motivated.

Learn to venture into endeavors you’re passionate about, things you love doing because that will aid your motivation tank to stay full.

Setting a goal or target is equally an agent of motivation. There’s an old saying which says ‘when the   purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable’. When you have a target you’re working hard to achieve, it’s difficult to get discouraged, hence, when the purpose of a business is not known, discouragement is inevitable.

You want to be diligent? Then, stay motivated! Don’t Quit!!

DISCIPLINE:

An undisciplined man is an irresponsible fellow and can never be diligent in anything. Indiscipline is a sworn enemy of success and it fervently wars against wealth creation. Show me a disciplined man and I will show you a wealthy man.

Discipline is simply defined as being self controlled, knowing what and what not to do at every point in time and knowing how to react or treat customers/business partners even when pushed to the wall. Being resolute in your decisions even when it is not easy to achieve depicts discipline.

In all your dealings, be disciplined, always be punctual, be accountable, listen more, talk less. Manage your profits with integrity; only spend on what you actually need because an extravagant lifestyle is a luxury for a disciplined man.

Where Motivation fails you, Discipline will definitely keep you.

CONCENTRATION:

A wise man once said “distraction is a game”. You can choose to stay focused or get distracted knowing that the distracted one is the person who loses at the end. Concentration is the act of absolutely focusing on something and determining to see it get to a desired height. Distraction is a sure path to failure because a distracted person can never achieve a thing.

When a goal is set, the maximum concentration given to it is directly proportional to the outcome expected. This is why you have to set goals/targets, they give you something to focus on, and hence you’re more concentrated.

Getting in so many things at a time will make you lose focus, so learn to take it one step at a time for maximum concentration and invariably maximum result.

RESPONSIBILITY:

This is the state or ability of being responsible, answerable, or accountable for something within one’s power, control or management.

In all your endeavors on daily basis, you should be responsible for every action or inaction you take and likewise, responsible for your mess.

Being responsible makes you less distracted, it helps you think about what you do before you do them. Your deeds and misdeeds show how responsible or irresponsible you are therefore, there's need for caution.

Your dreams depend on your responsibility to thrive, so don’t fail your generation due to your irresponsibility. People are looking up to you, waiting to share your success story, so don’t you disappoint them.

       While honey is full of advantages and is of diverse health benefits which includes;

• Treatment of Cough, Hay-fever, Diarrhea,
• Treatment of Asthma
• Wound healing, burns and sunburn.
• It's a good source of carbohydrate
• It's a natural sweetener
• Used for fragrance and as a moisturizer in soap and cosmetic product.
• It helps in the removal of acne, reduces wrinkles and dryness. 
• It equally plays a significant role in Weight loss.

It equally has a lot of disadvantages especially when taken in excess. Honey is so useful that people ingest it without caution.Due to the sweetness of honey, most people are not aware there could be some disadvantages associated with it and so they consume it morning, noon and night, practically adding it to every meal.You see mothers feeding their little babies with honey without the knowledge of it's negative effect on babies less than one year and for this reason I deem it fit to highlight some of the Disadvantages of Honey in this article. 

                          Disadvantages of Honey

• Consumption of more than the daily limit of honey may interfere with nutrient absorption in the Gastrointestinal tract due to it's fructose content and this could result to abdominal upset and discomfort.
• Consuming excess honey may initiate long-term harmful effects on the gastrointestinal tract.
• Honey is quite acidic therefore it's prolonged usage may lead to acid reflux disease as a result of corrosion of the esophagus and gastrointestinal linings. It could also cause tooth decay.
• Honey is full of glucose, hence, taking excess of it may cause insulin insensitivity and glucose intolerance.
• Excessive consumption of honey can cause diarrhea, bloating, abdominal rumbling and cramps.  
• When ingested by babies less than one year, it could cause Botulism, a paralytic disease. It doesn't affect adults but infants and this occurs due to the presence of the microorganism 'Clostridium botulinum' which is often found in honey.

                        Proper Daily Consumption of Honey

3-5 tsf of honey is the healthy limit of honey consumption daily. It is advised to be taken in the morning before breakfast and before bedtime. Excessive consumption affects both adults and infants negatively.

One Alec Ndiwane, a South African prophet who paraded himself as the ‘Biblical Samson’, recently challenged a lion to a battle in the Kruger National Park, saying he was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Ndiwane, Genral Overseer of Zion Christian Church based in Pretoria, was said to have visited the Park with fellow church members where they were watching the animals.

A few minutes into their visit, the prophet (self-acclaimed ‘Biblical Samson) started to speak in tongues, DailyPost SA reports.

The prophet alighted from the vehicle and went charging towards the lions. Upon seeing the man running towards them, the lions ran towards the prophet.

As though cajoled into the act, Ndiwane quickly realised himself and reportedly made an immediate turn and ran back to safety.

However, before he could safely reach the confines of the car, one lion had snapped its paws on him, causing major damage.

The game ranger was said to have come to his rescue after he reportedly fired some shots with his gun to scare the lion away.

The prophet, according to the report, was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.

Speaking on the incident, the ‘Biblical Samson said he was still in shock how everything happened.

He said, “I do not know what came over me.

“I thought the Lord wanted to use me to show his power over animals.

“Is it not we that have been given dominion over all creatures of the earth?” Ndiwane noted.

 Rt. Rev. Dr. Ali Buba Lamido,The Bishop of Zaria diocese, Anglican Communion, has recently expressed displeasure and disappointment over the leadership crisis in the Christian Association of Nigeria,CAN, stating the complete disconnection of the Christian body from the unique primary constituency it is meant to represent. In a press statement issued to newsmen in Kaduna,Thursday, the Bishop noted that recent developments in the CAN calls for serious concern.

        He said, “The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), in recent times has become a shadow of itself. The leadership of CAN has gradually, in its thirst for power, material gain and opulence made government constituency. “Pulpits have been reduced to campaign platforms for politicians. The leadership of the Christian body at different levels is now an avenue for some avaricious few to make money. “Men of God have turned to lovers of money and power. The Christian body seems to be at ease with the corruption from all sectors of the country and treat their members with cavalier contempt.” The Bishop added, “As a matter of fact, the leadership is completely disconnected from its primary constituency, the Christians it was meant to represent. CAN should be able to put its house in order to sustain its rule within different denominations and promote cross pollination of ideas in various Christian communities.

       “CAN should devise the means of financing tithe association instead of relying on government to fund its activities. Member Churches should be made to pay their dues and also contribute generously so as to run the association effectively. “Making government houses to look like ATM machines is unacceptable. I feel very strongly that part of the reason why CAN will always find it difficult to challenge the government is hinged on the saying that he who pays the piper dictates the tune.” He expressed discomfort that Christian leaders were advocating the zoning of CAN leadership to certain regions of the country. “It is most unfortunate that Christian leaders at this time of trying to unite the country would be playing the ethnic card,” he added.

        Rt. Rev. Lamido noted that the leaders were supposed to be the ones to de-emphasize tribal or regional sentiments, stressing, “I think what CAN needs are men of integrity, who are ready to go to any length to see that the Church in this country is united and also takes its place. Men who do not see CAN leadership as the sumptuous softness of palace splendor.

        “As the election for CAN officials draw nearer, l call on those responsible for the voting to vote men who have what it takes to move the association forward. We cannot continue this way. We cannot kill this association in our time.”

First, you need to know that Jesus nailed cancer to the cross years back. He has taken away every of our infirmities, so the question should be:
-what is cancer doing in my body, if you're experiencing it now or why would I ever have or face it? Friends, God's utmost wish is that you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. It's His wish for you and He has given you Jesus to make sure that wish comes to pass in your life. Cancer and all afflictions is of the devil, it's not God's wish for you. All you need do is to believe and to stand strong on the promises of God for you as His child.
By the stripes of Jesus, you're healed sweetheart, so if you're afflicted by cancer or any affliction, by now you should be very angry and upset at it, knowing it's of the devil and that Jesus has taken it away.
So, stand up today in holy anger and command this enemy out of your body and don't be afraid or doubtful, for in Jesus, you have authority and dominion.
Lastly, learn to live in obedience and according to the will of God because when you're not, you open up yourself to the devil.
God loves you more than you can ever imagine, he loves you despite all odds, so just accept his love and live a happy and fulfilled life...Shalom.

Who is going to hell?
In recent months in Nigeria, there have been these videos going around in which some women supposedly went to hell after dying, on a kind of guided tour of the place, and I guess also of heaven. After some time they were revived and they reported their encounters. Their report has had a lot of people scared and many are changing their ways.

Now, I believe there is a hell and also a lake of fire of eternal damnation (I am not at this time making a distinction between the two); God prepared this place(s) for the devil and his angels (Matt 25:41). From the context of the passage in Matthew’s gospel, we know that God not only sends the devil and demons there but also anyone who rejects His will in his or her lives. For this reason it is necessary to fear lest one finds himself or herself thrust into such a place. It has to be a fearful place. Whether the fire is literal or figurative is secondary to the fact that it is an established place of torment, and it is to be feared.

Some have argued that a good God will never send people to hell; that argument is very faulty since we know that a good judge on the earth has to send criminals to prison. The question is whether people deserve it or not, not at all about the goodness of God. For what the devil and both his spiritual and human follows have done, they will be sent to hell, and it is right. The goodness of God does not mean He should shy away from applying punishment when necessary; He must still do that which is right and just. His goodness only means He shows a righteous form of compassion.
Compassion is what makes God warn people about these things and to provide the remedy so that all who desire it may be delivered from the judgment to come.

“And the Lord, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place; but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, until there was no remedy.” 2 Chron 36:15-17 NASB*
God will send you to hell if you qualify; He won’t feel good about it but, trust me, He will do it.
Having established the above I wish to comment on the videos making the rounds and the response of people to them. I have not seen any of the videos (I don’t even know how many they are), I am therefore only commenting on what I hear people say about them, and what changes I have heard people make as a result of watching the video.

I wish these videos had been generating the true fear of God in people, but unfortunately they have not. All I have seen is confusion created in the lives of many.
I heard it said that one of the hell visitors also went to heaven and in heaven found very few women; when she wondered why, she was told that it was because of the make-up (cosmetics) most women apply to their faces, the wearing of jewellery, together with the use of artificial additions to their hair (attachments, weave-on’s) and such things. For this reason many women, upon watching these videos, have discarded the use of all these things so they can ‘make’ heaven. My wife told me of a woman she knows, who when she saw recently was hard to recognize for her. The young woman had transformed and now went without any adornment of any sort. Her clothes had increased markedly in length. All her adornments, jewellery and all, had been set on fire, all so as to make heaven. I also heard of a woman who burnt her entire set of hair dressing equipment (she was hitherto a hair-dresser) so as to avoid hell fire.

A number of people have come to me to ask questions as a result of seeing both the videos themselves and the effect in the lives of people as narrated above. As a matter of fact, I initially didn’t feel this thing was worthy of my comments, but since people keep asking I decided to give a simple answer from the Bible.
