God Never Makes Mistakes - Day by Day with Billy Graham

God is especially close to us when we are lying on a sickbed. God will make the bed soft and will freshen it with His presence and with His tender care. He makes the bed comfortable and wipes away our tears.
He ministers to us with special tenderness at such a time and reveals His great love for us. Tell me why the gardener trims and prunes his rosebushes, sometimes cutting away productive branches, and I will tell you why God's people are afflicted. God's hand never slips. He never makes a mistake.
His every move is for our own good and for our ultimate good. Oftentimes He must deform us and mutilate our own image. Deformity sometimes precedes conformity.

Daily Prayer

When times of tribulation come, help me, dear Lord, to glory in them for Your sake.

Eternity - Day by Day with Billy Graham

Nowhere does the Bible teach that Christians are to be exempted from the tribulations and natural disasters that come upon the world. It does teach that the Christian can face tribulation, crisis, calamity, and personal suffering with a supernatural power that is not available to the person outside Christ.
The early Christians were able to experience joy in their hearts in the midst of trials, troubles, and depression. They counted suffering for Christ not as a burden or misfortune, but as a great honor, as evidence that Christ counted them worthy to witness to Him through suffering. They never forgot what Christ Himself had gone through for their salvation; and to suffer for His name's sake was regarded as a gift rather than a cross.
Christians can rejoice in tribulation because they have eternity's values in view. When the pressures are on, they look beyond their present predicaments to the glories of heaven. The thought of the future life with its prerogatives and joys helps to make the trials of the present seem light and transient.

Daily Prayer

Father, help me to go beyond the afflictions and tribulations of our age, and to look toward the inheritance reserved for us in heaven.

The Unchanging God - Day by Day with Billy Graham

Have you ever thought about the collapse of time? From the days of the Lord Jesus Christ until about 1830, man could not travel any faster than a horse. In 1960, a man went into space and traveled at a speed of 18,000 miles an hour. Look how far we have come in so short a time! Sometimes when I read the papers, I think we are trying to run the Space Age with horse-and-buggy moral and spiritual equipment.

Technology, you see, has no morals; and with no moral restraints man will destroy himself ecologically, militarily, or in some other way. Only God can give a person moral restraints and spiritual strength.

While our world is shaking and crumbling, we need to realize that one thing will never change, and that is God. He is the same today as He was ten million years ago, and He will be the same ten million years from today. We are like grasshoppers; we appear and hop around a bit on the earth, and then we are gone.

Daily Prayer

Almighty God, to know You are unchanging gives me peace in a frighteningly changing world.

Get In The Word - Day by Day with Billy Graham

As Christians, we have the Spirit of God in us. But ours is the responsibility to keep sin out of our lives so that the Spirit can produce His fruit in us. Become grounded in the Bible. As Christians, we have only one authority, one compass: the Word of God

Abraham Lincoln in a letter to a friend said, "I am profitably engaged in reading the Bible. Take all of this Book upon reason that you can, and the balance upon faith. You will live and die a better man."

Begin the day with the Book; and as the day comes to a close, let the Word speak its wisdom to your soul. Let it be the firm foundation upon which your hope is built. Let it be the Staff of Life upon which your spirit is nourished. Let it be the Sword of the Spirit which cuts away the evil of your life and fashions you in His image and likeness.

Daily Prayer

Almighty God, Your Word nourishes my whole being and I praise Your holy name!

Angels Have Charge Over Us - Day by Day with Billy Graham

Modern psychiatrists say that one of the basic needs of man is security. In the 91st Psalm we are assured that in God we have the greatest of security, "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." If you read and reread this beautiful Psalm, you will discover that in Him we have a permanent abode and residence, and that all of the comfort, security, and affection which the human heart craves is found in Him. Perhaps no visible angels will appear in your life and mine, but God's promise of security is nonetheless real and certain. Those who live in the realm of God have genuine safety and security.

Daily Prayer

Wherever I go this day, You and Your angels will be with me. Thank you, Lord, for the peace, love, and security You promise.

The Home - Day by Day with Billy Graham

The first essential for a happy Christian home is that love must be practiced. Homes that are built on animal attraction and lust are destined to crumble and fall. Love is the cohesive force that holds the family together.

True love contains an element of spiritual mystery. It embodies loyalty, reverence, and understanding. Love imposes a tremendous responsibility on all members of a family, but it is a responsibility accompanied by glorious rewards. "Love," says the Bible, "even as Christ . . . loved the church, and gave Himself for it."

How did Christ love the church? He loved it despite its faults, its mistakes, and its weaknesses. True love does not fail. It loves despite personality defects, physical blemishes, and mental quirks. Love is deep, abiding, and eternal. Nothing can bring a sense of security into the home as true love can.

Daily Prayer

Help me today, to listen, to love and care for my loved ones with a heart that is made sensitive by You, Jesus.

Assurance of His Love - DAY BY DAY WITH BILLY GRAHAM

Today many people are living in the bondage of fear. In a recent study a psychiatrist said that the greatest problem facing his patients was fear. Fear of going insane, committing suicide, being alone, or fear of heart disease, cancer, disaster, or death. We are becoming a nation of fearful people. Down through the centuries in times of trouble, temptation, trial, bereavement, and crisis, God has brought courage to the hearts of those who love Him. The Bible is crowded with assurances of God's help and comfort in every kind of trouble which might cause fears to arise in the human heart. Today the Christian can come to the Scriptures with full assurance that God is going to deliver the person who puts his trust and confidence in God. Christians can look into the future with promise, hope, and joy, and without fear, discouragement, or despondency.

Daily Prayer

Your assurances of love still the fears of my heart, Lord.

A Simple Message - Day by day with Billy Graham

The great Swiss theologian, Dr. Karl Barth, was probably in his generation the greatest theologian in the world, and a great philosopher as well. I did not always agree with him, but he was my friend and I respected him.

While he was in this country, a student at one of the seminaries said, "Dr. Barth, what is the greatest truth that ever crossed your mind?" All the seminary students were sitting on the edge of their seats to hear some great, profound, deep, complicated answer.

Dr. Barth slowly raised his great shaggy gray head and looked at the student and said, "Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so."

Daily Prayer

Lord Jesus, may I always keep the knowledge of Your love in true simplicity-unencumbered by much learning. Thank You for loving me.

John 15:9

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

The Secret Of Real Living - Day by Day with Billy Graham

Some Christians have learned little of a daily devotional life. Some time ago a policeman asked me what the secret of victorious living was. I told him that there is no magic formula that can be pronounced. If any word could describe it, I would say surrender. The second word I would say would be devotion. Nothing can take the place of a daily devotional life with Christ. Your quiet time, your prayer time, the time you spend in the Word, is absolutely essential for a happy Christian life. You cannot possibly be a happy, dynamic, and powerful Christian apart from a daily walk with Christ. Christ is calling Christians today to cleansing, to dedication, to consecration, and to full surrender. It will make the difference between success and failure in your spiritual life. It will make the difference between being helped and helping others. It will make a difference in your habits, in your prayer life, in your Bible reading, in your giving, in your testimony, and in your church membership. This is the Christian hour of decision!

Daily Prayer

I long for a deeper devotional life, living Lord. May I consecrate myself completely to You.

The Redemption that is in Christ - Pst. Bankie

THE REDEMPTION THAT IS IN CHRIST

Pastor Bankie

Let me take this time to answer a question you may have been asking for a long time.
‘Born again – what does it really mean?’
You see, life is basically lived as a reward, i.e. what you are experiencing as a middle aged or older man are basically products of choices you made or did not make when you were young.
Are you a young man? Then read this:
“Rejoice young man, during your childhood, and let your heart be pleasant during the days of your young manhood. And follow the impulse of your heart and the desires of your eyes, yet know that God will bring you to judgment for all these things.” Eccl 11: 9.

All the things you are doing today or have done in your past have awaiting you consequences. It does not matter whether they are good or evil, hidden or open. The Bible says that “God will bring EVERY act to judgement, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.”
Many of those things you thought you got away with because nobody saw you have affected your life seriously, it is just that you will not discover the consequences for the next 10-15 years. Unfortunately, you probably would have forgotten the cause of your troubles then.
You see, a lot of times people blame God for the troubles around them, not realizing that every single trouble of man is caused by man.
At other times, people ask why God is not doing anything. The issue is this: why should He? You have forgotten that the world is man’s business. If you want God’s help you have to ask for it. Why should you talk as if He is the cause of your problems? He is not your problem. He is your solution.

The next problem is that men often think God should follow their own ideas of a solution. They forget that they know next to nothing. God knows all. He has provided the needed solution but men are ignoring it.
Men are ignoring the solution to their problems! Funny? Yes, funny but true. Let me tell you a small story to illustrate this point. General Naaman of Syria had what the doctors call Hansen’s disease, commonly called leprosy. He was referred to the consultant miracle worker, Rev. Elisha. As he approached, he was met by the prophet’s P. A who told him that the prescription was ‘go jump into the Jordan river seven times.’ What did Naaman do? He did just what I am complaining about. He felt the Reverend should have followed his own idea, he Naaman.

‘Behold, I thought “He will surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place and cure me.” ’
You see, the prescription was simple but it did not agree with his opinion. Thank God that in this case his servants could persuade him to obey the Reverend gentleman’s orders. The result is that he was perfectly made whole. (The story is in 2nd kings).
What is God’s prescription to solve man’s problems?
Relax. I’ll tell you in a moment. Let’s go back to this issue of consequences.
Whether you like it or not, it is true that what controls life does not respect your opinion and is more than easily meets the eye. It is quite unfortunate that it appears that more evil consequences are awaiting people than good ones. Life seems to tend to follow that negative line. There are many reasons for this. Here are a few:
‘The heart of man is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick.’
‘Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child.’
Another reason is that evil tends to weigh a lot more than good. Jesus said ‘A little leaven leavens the whole lump.’
James said ‘A small spark sets a great forest on fire.’
Solomon said ‘One sinner destroys much good.’
You are quite aware that it is much easier to wreck a car than to build one. A city takes decades to build but can be destroyed in a day. Yes, it doesn’t sound nice but this is the fact of life.
Another fact of life is that the consequence of one man’s sin often does affect the generations after him. You know, one man does something, he dies and is buried, yet his sons suffer the consequences. Very much like the saying that the fathers ate sour grapes and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
‘Ah! This is totally unfair! Why is it so?’
Well, don’t worry about that. It is so, it is so. Don’t let’s spend our mental energy on what will not profit, let us invest it in looking for the solution. And by the way, don’t blame God (most people seem to love doing that whenever there in something they have no control over), if you must blame anybody, blame the fathers who ate the grapes.
Let me state this fact: There are spiritual laws and there is a spiritual realm. These spiritual things absolutely control every event on this earth. Space will not allow me show that to you, but please let no ignoramus who thinks he is wise tell you otherwise. There is more to life than meets the eye. In this life there are no accidents, happenstances or mere coincidences; every significant event had a spiritual antecedent. You better believe it.

I, writing this, have studied science to a level far beyond average. I understand in depth the scientific explanations of the causes of disease. Yet, I make bold to tell you that only a foolish scientist makes you think there are no spiritual things. Listen to me, the theory of evolution as opposed to creation was the idea of a thinker, not a researcher and he never really believed it. The science world only propagated it because it wanted to reject the only alternative –creation!
Do you have any idea what is waiting for you around the next corner?
Well, I’m not trying to judge you nor am I even trying to scare you. I have brought you good news!
Enter, the God of the universe!
He does not want any to perish or suffer but that they may enjoy good life. Jesus said I have come that you may have life and have it in an abundant measure.

God is saying ‘I can engineer things so that those negative things will never come to you. Oh yes, with your cooperation. I can wipe away all the things that are written against you. I can make your life new.’
‘Oh yes, you were a prostitute, but I can make life become for you like that of a virgin.’
‘Yes, you have been a thief; I can make an honest successful businessman out of you.’
‘I know your father sold you into bondage to one god which has made you an outcast, yet I can be a new father to you, bring you into liberty in my house and make your community look up to you.’
‘I am well aware that your reproductive organs were irreparably damaged because of that abortion in your sixteenth year of age, but please let me introduce myself to you: I am the God who makes barren women dwell in the house as joyful mothers of children.’
‘I am the Lord God of all flesh, there is nothing too difficult for me.’

This is God’s prescription: ‘If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord over your life and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved!’
This is God’s solution: The redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Oh, friends. That is God. Do you see what salvation is now?
‘So what happened to all my evil deeds?’ You may ask. ‘I thought you said that God will surely bring it all to judgement.’
You see, my friend, Jesus paid it all.
‘He was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was laid upon him. Because of His wounds, we are healed.
‘The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.’
That is the redemption that is in Christ Jesus!
That is the meaning of the blood of Jesus!
That is God’s solution!

Do you now see what it means to be born again? It does not mean I now go to church. It means my old life has been forgiven, washed clean. I have started an entirely new life, this new life I do not live for or by myself but by faith in Jesus i.e. I follow His words and believe everything He says. It means I am now a child of God, related to Him through Jesus.
Do you see it?
If so, then it is time to make your commitment to Him. Pray with me:
‘Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Forgive me my sins, wash away my past.
‘I accept Jesus as my Lord, I believe He is alive.
‘I make a commitment today to follow your ways. Let old things be gone from my life, I will always love and obey Jesus.

‘Thank you for your love and sacrifice. Amen.
Now you now one of them, BORN AGAIN.

ALL Things are Possible with God!

Luke 1:37 - For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Matthew 19:26 - But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

These are now common scriptures, quoted by all and sundry but funny enough 90% of believers don't even believe it. Let me quickly say this, these scriptures doesn't apply only to your needs, or when you are experiencing some difficulties, or when you're passing through life's challenges.

It says 'ALL' not some aspects, 'ALL'. And that means, It's possible to live above sin, enjoy supernatural provision and wealth, live an all year round sickness free life, live above principalities and powers and rule in all.

If you truly believe those scriptures, then complaints and worry shouldn't be found around you. You should be enjoying peace, knowing that your ever reliable and dependable God doesn't have impossibility as an attribute.

A holy and righteous life is obtainable, in fact very POSSIBLE as you can see from our life manual...the Holy Bible. You must not experience one ailment or the other every time, because you can actually live without it.

Don't talk like unbelievers, your confession is only a reflection of what you believe in your heart. Quit negativism, stop saying, it's impossible. Many Christians don't believe any good thing can still come out of Nigeria. No, that's not true, confess the word of God, speak life and change instead. Call forth what you want to see, believing that 'ALL' things are very possible with God.

Shalom!

Have You Ever Wondered Why You Were Created?!

As a young boy in secondary/high school, I looked at life, people and basically my family. People(adults) wake up in the morning and go out to their work places, they come home at evening and rest preparing for the next day. They go out in the morning and come home in the evening everyday just to put food on the table, live in a good environment and be clothed. Students also wake up in the morning, run to school, come back home at dusk hoping that after schooling, they will have a decent job/endeavour and comfortably provide for their families. So, I wondered why life is existing since we all labour to eat and live. We live to keep working. Here's the funny part - we know everything is vanity. We all know we will die someday and all our endeavours will JUST PERISH.

So I wondered: why on earth did God create man? To come and try to survive? That wouldn’t be fair. But, I thought to myself, He is always seated in heaven looking down to the earth, watching us struggle and even expects us to keep all His commandments while struggling so we don’t go to hell. I thought these things in my heart for months and months.

But studying God's word and listening to teachers of the Word of God has helped me understand a lot. Many people say: "God has a purpose for giving you life. He wants you to do something for Him while you are on earth. He wants you to achieve the goal He has set for you and impact peoples' lives positively". And they are very correct. Many people come to God to get their needs met. And God wants to meet your needs. As a matter of fact He "…hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness…" (II Pet. 1: 3).

But brethren, God has not created you to get your needs met. There is no point in creating a problem only so you can solve it. He sure wants to meet your needs but that's not why He gave you life. He wants you to impact the world, achieve His set goal and work in accordance with His word, but that's not His primary reason for creating you. You could not have had any world to impact if He had not made one. Take a look at Adam and Eve. Why did God create them? I believe God did not create Adam and Eve to meet their needs, yes, He wanted them to do things for Him - He wanted them to dress and keep the garden, to bring order and control to His creation in entirety. But that is not His primary purpose for creating them. If they were created just to work in the garden, God would not have had to visit them at the cool of the day.

I bet you are already asking, "Why then did God Create Man?" That's the purpose of this write-up - to answer that question.

"The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: FOR THOU HAST CREATED ALL THINGS, AND FOR THY PLEASURE THEY ARE AND WERE CREATED." (Rev. 4: 10 - 11)

Stop! Read that verse again, consider the words in capital letters, think deeply(meditate) on that.

Can you believe this? GOD MADE YOU JUST FOR HIS PLEASURE? Yeah! He did. I really wish this is sinking into your spirit.

No wonder David exclaimed:

"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…" (Ps. 139: 14)

Look! You are not a junk! You aren’t useless! God loves you and just wants to take pleasure in you not because you are lovely; but that is the reason he made you - to fellowship with you. You really need to understand this. God didn’t call you because of what you will do for Him; You are already doing something great for Him in just letting Him love you. God is by your side every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year! He never leaves you! He never will! He just wants you to know He loves you so much and just wants you to love Him back. Please, take your time to fellowship with God. Understand that He's with you always and wants you to attend to Him. He wants to commune with you when you're driving; when you're walking down the street; when you're eating! He is closer to you than your wife is; than your kids are; than your parents, your siblings, and your friends; He is closer to you than they all are. Don’t ignore Him. Allow Him commune with you because you are worthy to commune with Him.

That's the reason Jesus had to die and pay for your sins. The bible (in the 'law and the prophets') teaches that sin is the barrier between God and man. Habakkuk says:

"Thou[God] art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity:…"(Hab. 1: 13)

But thank God Jesus died and removed that barrier and man can now enjoy fellowship with God again.

What a blessing!

Praise God! Hallelujah!!!

Anger: A Gift from God

Anger: A Gift from God!

Most people think anger is demonic and nothing good/righteous comes from anger; but The Bible teaches contrary to the above statement.
Anger is actually a gift from God to us humans. It is a very strong weapon against our adversary the devil. Take a look at this verse of scripture;
"be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil" (Eph. 4: 26-27)

Look at that verse carefully, it starts with "be ye angry…"; it’s a command; it says: "be ye angry" and then it adds "…and sin not". Generally, this verse has been misunderstood and misused among Christians and it has been understood and used as: "God knows you're human, so go on and get angry and it's not sin if you confess it every day before going to bed" or for some people: "a little bit of anger is ok but not in excess". People of God, that’s not what this verse is saying. This verse is saying you should get angry with the anger that is not sin. There is an anger that is not sin. Most people think anger is of the devil; but the devil does not create anything; he can only pervert what has been created by the creator. God made everyone of us with the ability to get angry and He is telling us here to get angry with the holy anger.
We all know Jesus Christ was and is the Son of God and that He was/is without sin yet the Bible said in Jn. 2: 13 - 17
"And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, 14.)  And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: 15.) And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; 16.) And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. 17.) And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up."

Brethren, Jesus was angry; He was angered to the point that He had to make a whip("a scourge of small cords"). He totally lost it that even the temple guards could not stop Him. His disciples and all others could only stand and stare. And yet, Jesus was (and is still) without sin.
The second part of Eph. 4: 26 continues "let not the sun go down upon your wrath" this sentence is not telling you to confess your anger every night before going to bed; it is actually telling you to not let your anger subside. Stir yourself up and don’t let your anger vanish.

That’s hard for many people to accept. But look up this expression "THE SUN GOING DOWN ON SOMETHING" and you'll understand that if the sun goes down on something, that thing vanishes. If the sun goes down on your anger, your ANGER VANISHES. And now, The Word of God is telling you not to let your anger 'vanish' Stir yourself up and "…neither give place to the devil".
If you are not operating in anger, you're not operating in the way God made you to be and you will be giving place to the devil because that verse(27) tells you that if you let your anger subside, you are giving place to the devil. Your anger is a strong weapon against the devil and his vices.

I know a minister who shared a testimony of when he was so broke he couldn’t afford to eat, his rent was late and he had a lot of bills to settle. He confessed his riches in Christ "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" Phil. 4: 19, he believed God for his supplies and it just seems like nothing was working. Then a day came that he went into the church to pray; and as he prayed for some minutes, he became so "ANGRY" and shouted at the devil (because he realised God supplies the need but the devil, one way or the other, was stopping him from receiving what God has supplied) and screamed as if he was talking to a physical being. He said in his testimony; "if the devil was a physical being, I would have done him some damage". Then, he said, "I knew that our problems were solved and before I could get home to tell my wife that our problem was solved, she told me that some guy called in and asked how he could send them money". Praise The Lord!

Yes! You can start getting mad at the devil and stop him from working in your life. You can and should hate sickness, poverty, disease and everything that comes from the devil. As a matter of fact, you can't love God without hating what comes from the devil. If u really love your wife, you can kill anybody who tries to attack her. Not because you hate the other person but because you must protect what/who you love.
"The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate."(Prov. 8: 13)
"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."(Matt. 11: 12)

To [love] The Lord is to hate evil.

Nevertheless, anger may be demonic/sinful depending on what you are angry at or why you are angry.
Let's take a look at Prov. 13: 10;
"Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom."

Again, there is a Godly contention. But this verse is talking about the ungodly anger.

Now most people don't believe that this is in the Bible. But that’s scripture and is very true. It says "ONLY by pride…" it doesn’t say "for some people…", neither does it say "for people of some race…", "…colour…", "…tongue…" and so on. It's amazing the scripture says "ONLY…". That means; the only reason why you're always angry is because you're prideful. Some people will say "that's not true" or "that’s true for some people but not for me". Well, I think you're just trying to justify yourself. Or maybe you don’t know better.

Most people think pride is arrogance, and it is pride; but it is only one manifestation of pride. Can you guess the other manifestation of pride? You'll be shocked to know that 'shyness' or 'timidity' is another manifestation of pride. We have to define pride the way the Bible defines it: pride, in its simplest term, is "self-centredness". Pride is just thinking only about one's self; it doesn’t matter if self thinks it's better than everybody else or self thinks it's worse than every other person; it's all self-centredness - Always "me, me, mine, mine, I, I" always wanting to satisfy itself. Wanting to be pleased by all. And that's why you're always angry.

How do you feel when you are driving and the person in front of you just suddenly pulls over or just turns left/right and forgets to turn on the navigator light? You go mad most of the time right? That's because you think you are at the centre of the world and the whole world revolves around you. Beloved, there is only one God, and you are not Him. Everybody can't be pleasing you! You are not at the centre of the universe! Now how will you feel if God opens your eyes and you were able to see the heart of that person and, maybe, he is just coming from the hospital where his wife and kids are lying due to car accident or he just lost his wife and because of that his mind wasn’t really in the driving so he forgot to turn on the navigation light before pulling over/turning to another direction? I believe you will feel compassion.

My point is, if you know the reason people do the negative things they do, you wouldn’t always get upset with them. If you think about others more than you do yourself, you will never be angry with anybody. We have only one enemy - the devil. Knowing this helps us understand that people are manipulated by the devil and so our anger and hatred will directed towards the devil and not to our fellow humans. A lot of times Christians are angry and develop hatred for the unbelievers for their way of life and rejection of redemption. You have to understand this, there is nobody who understands redemption that will reject it. If they don’t believe, it's because they don’t understand. We are actually supposed to mourn for their sakes because they are perishing and the bible refers to them as "as them who the god of this age has blinded".

You really have to stop hating and getting mad at people. Develop your hatred and anger against the devil and his vices - that’s the reason God gave us the ability to hate and to be angry. By that, the devil will always flee from you. Hate sickness and he won't put it on you. Hate depression, with all your heart, and I can guarantee you'll never have to battle with it anymore.

Be Blessed!
