Vocally gifted singer, poet, lyricist, guitarist, and producer, Morayo has independently released her third single “Adupe”. The song was lyrically inspired by the realization that peace cannot be forged from our quest for knowledge or pursuit of riches but from the revelation of our relationship with the Father and our trust in Him.
“Adupe” is a Yoruba word which means gratitude. The rich sounds encapsulated within this masterpiece are influenced by American Soul music grooves and exotic African rhythms which are sure to captivate music lovers around the world. Morayo spearheaded the production of this song and was privileged to have the creative expertise of co-producers’, Houston based producer William Garcia and Internationally renowned producer Cobhams Asuquo, who raised the bar and pushed Morayo to give a vocal performance on her best recording yet, which will not go unnoticed.
